Final thoughts on Kendis’ Skyrim Run
Here’s the Final Thoughts wrapup post for Kendis and her playthrough!
Main takeaway here: this run was ultimately disappointing, and I have to advise any Nintendo Switch players to stay off the Anniversary Edition.

In Which Kendis Defeats Alduin in Sovngarde
Here we go folks, Kendis’ last official Skyrim session post. Action here: going to Skuldafn and Sovngarde, to take out Alduin for the game finale.
This will be followed by a Final Thoughts post.

In Which Kendis Fights Through Game Performance Problems to Defeat Miraak
Knocking out two sessions at once here, basically covering my hard push through Solstheim to try to get a sense of how much of it is, in fact, functional. And because I want to get Kendis’ playthrough over and done with.
Main action here is finishing off a bunch of the stuff I usually run on Solstheim, and also wrestling with the very buggy behavior when trying to make the weapon Trueflame.

In Which Kendis Aids the Tribunal Cult on Solstheim
I’ve decided to go ahead and make a hard push through the rest of Kendis’ playthrough–to finish up Solstheim, and then to run her final confrontation with Alduin. I want to get her finished up so that I can free up my Skyrim cycles for Elessir and Finds-The-Way!
Also, I want to finish my confirmation of how much of Solstheim is still functional on the AE build on the Switch. So here’s a big ol’ round of that in this post.

In Which Kendis Quests Across Solstheim, But With Challenges
This post is the first two sessions I’ve done with Kendis on Solstheim in Skyrim–during which I discovered, to my dismay, that two quests on Solstheim are actively broken if you’re running the Anniversary Edition on the Switch.
So in these two sessions, I tried to see what I could do about this, and also tried to see how many of the things I usually run on Solstheim are still functional. Deets behind the fold.

Solstheim is broken in Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch
I was going to hold on a post like this until the end of Kendis’ playthrough, even though I’ve been seeing increasing problems running the AE on my Switch. But as of taking her to Solstheim in her run, I’ve discovered that there are game-breaking bugs in the Solstheim content. And that’s vexing enough that it’s finally kicked me over into definitively not recommending the AE on the Switch right now.
Details behind the fold.

In Which Kendis Becomes Thane of the Reach and Does a Lot of Fishing
Still working on clearing side quests in Kendis’ journal in Skyrim, before I send her off to Solstheim to go toe to toe with Miraak! Mostly, this meant becoming thane in the Reach, getting Vlindrel Hall, and doing a bunch more fishing to get the overall Fishing quest lines finished up, including defeating a giant spirit crab in Dawnstar.

In Which Kendis Becomes Thane of Haafingar and Fights the Mythic Dawn
Time for catchup with Kendis in Skyrim! Main action in this post: clearing Sunderstone Gorge; defeating the ghost of Potema in the Solitude catacombs; getting the Wabbajack; killing Crowstooth at Arcwind Point; questing through Varlais Cavern and then Red Scar Cavern, and triggering the Oblivion gate; questing in the Deadlands; saving Malborn from assassination; initial action to get the thaneship in the Reach; and lots and lots and lots of fishing.

In Which Kendis Goes Fishing and Forges an Aetherium Crown
Super-short Kendis playthrough post for Skyrim, just to get this cleared out of my queue. Main action is advancing the Fishing quest line, and finding the Aetherium Forge with Katria’s ghost.

In Which Kendis Confronts Alduin, Interrupts Necromancers, and Recovers a Shard
Wow, I am super behind on my playthrough posts. And I’ve been so heavily playing ESO lately that my Skyrim playthroughs have actually lagged! I’ve hit a point where ESO has become more interesting just because it’s got way more content I actually haven’t played yet.
But that said, here are the last three sessions I’ve done with Kendis on the Switch, the earliest of which was back in late May, and the last of which was last night.
