In Which Shenner Attends to Loose Ends
After taking out Miraak, anything else I do on Solstheim is entirely clearing up loose ends. But that’s okay! It made for a somewhat more relaxed play session, as I journeyed around the island doing assorted side quests.

In Which Shenner Defeats Miraak in Apocrypha
I went ahead with the rough plan to go ahead and take out Miraak before finishing off my various other actions on Solstheim. Partly to switch it up for once, and partly because it kind of felt appropriate this time through, as part of Shenner’s version of the “help the island of Solstheim” narrative.
But that was the main action! The rest was going to Fahlbtharz to reforge Trueflame, clearing White Ridge Barrow, and taking care of more side quests at Tel Mithryn.

In Which Shenner Rescues a Curate and Slays a Priest of Dagoth Ur
Most of this session was actually taking a Dragonborn break, and doing a circuit through Skyrim’s major cities and selling off a bunch of accumulated loot. But I also moved the Ghosts of the Tribunal plotline further along, and took out a renegade priest of Dagoth Ur who threatened the temple. Also, I finished up Kolbjorn Barrow!

In Which Shenner Returns to Kolbjorn Barrow and Enters Benkongerike
I would not normally have bothered to put up a post for a playthrough this short, but I wanted to gush some more about the graphics experience I’m getting in Skyrim on the Deck now. 😀 So here we go!

In Which Shenner Claims the Deathbrand Hoard and the Black Bow of Fate
This Shenner session is a milestone: the very first time I tried out playing Skyrim on my new Steam Deck! Very satisfying experience over all. And satisfying for Shenner as well, as she got to kill several pirate ghosts and a dragon, and collect more shiny loot. <3

In Which Shenner Finds a Mask and Rehomes Some Nords
More action with the secret Tribunal cult on Solstheim! Got the Mask of Vivec, and also just generally explored the temple. Also, did another round in Kolbjorn Barrow, and helped the Nords led by Bujold get back their home.

In Which Shenner Investigates a Cult and Black Books
Mix of old stuff and new stuff in this session! I got the Ghosts of the Tribunal plot seriously underway, which necessitated not only visiting Fahlbtharz, but also investigating the Ashfall’s Tear cavern behind Raven Rock Mine. And then, just to move the main Dragonborn plot along a little further, I went to talk to Neloth and ran Nchardak!

In Which Shenner Quests Around Solstheim
Plotwise, this session’s main action was cleansing the rest of the All-Maker Stones. But aside from that, I also ran the plot to learn how to make netch leather armor, and the plot to find a suit of stalhrim fur armor! Killed three different dragons and got most of the Deathbrand armor. And rescued Baldor from the Thalmor, told the Thalmor to fuck off, and located the stalhrim source! Busy session, all around.

In Which Shenner Starts Cleansing All-Maker Stones
Meanwhile, back on Solstheim, Shenner and her Team Dragonborn posse have begun the work of cleansing the All-Maker Stones, and setting things right not only for the Skaal, but for the island as a whole! Take that, Miraak!

In Which Shenner Stops an Assassination and Finds Miraak’s Temple
Successfully saved Councillor Morvayn of Raven Rock from assassination, yay! And now I have Severin Manor, so I have a home base to work from to set about the important Dragonborn business of taking down Miraak. As well as doing all the other tasty side things to do on Solstheim!
