Canceling Nona’s and Alecto’s playthroughs, and other catchup to do

I’m at a point where I’m a little overwhelmed trying to keep up with three different Skyrim playthroughs at once, especially given that two of them are on older builds of Tuxborn. And the oldest one, Nona’s, is on 0.5.2 and still has all the various performance issues involved with that.

I don’t like bailing on Skyrim playthroughs in general, it offends my completionist brain! But I am also tired of wrestling with 0.5.2’s performance issues. Alecto’s run, in 1.0, is definitely more stable. But I need to just make things easier for myself and pay attention to one Skyrim playthrough at once.

So I’m officially canceling running both Nona and Alecto. I still have some posts related to Nona that I want to do, but these will mostly focus on some reviews of content I played to completion with her. So stand by for that.

Meanwhile, in ESO land, I haven’t posted anything for any of my ESO alts for so long that trying to get thoroughly caught up on them is not feasible. So I’m going to try to do some general status check posts along the same lines as Nona’s run, to do some general reactions on plotlines played to completion with those characters.

So moving forward, I’m going to focus on Kenna for Skyrim, and Nona and Alecto will be kicked into the same status as Elessir and Kendeshel–i.e., I’m done with them, but still have pending things to write about them.

I’m obviously going to keep playing both Skyrim and ESO, but my headspace right now is such that I can’t muster the same in-depth posts I’ve done before. Partly because after a point, I don’t have much new to say! But also partly because I don’t have the mental energy for it.

Summaries, though, those I can do. And periodic mod reviews.

So that’s what I’ll be doing around here for a while!
