Making my first patch in xEdit
I interrupt my usual playthrough posts for some in-depth modding geekery, as I learned how to make my very first patch in xEdit! This let me correct a cell height problem that was causing a stupidly high number of dragon attacks in Solitude.

In which the Dragonborns discover the extent of Mercer Frey's treachery back at the Guild; report finally to High Hrothgar to speak to the Greybeards; go to Ustengrav to seek out the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller; join forces with Delphine to slay Sahloknir at Kynesgrove; and return the Horn to the Greybeards.

In Which Kendeshel Joins the Imperial Legion and the Companions
In which Kendeshel fights a boatload of bandits and retrieves stolen relics, as well as rare armor; joins the Imperial Legion; clears Fort Hraggstad of bandits; joins the Companions; retrieves King Olaf's Verse from Dead Men's Respite; fights for the Imperial side in a battle of champions; and helps recover the Jagged Crown from Korvanjund. In which Finds-The-Way joins the College of Winterhold; discovers a powerful orb in Saarthal, while also killing a powerful draugr; quests into Fellglow Keep in search of books about her discovery; learns she must seek the Staff of Magnus; learns the name of the mysterious nemesis who's been sabotaging the Thieves Guild; and pays a visit to the Face Sculptor in the Ragged Flagon.

Experiment: Trying to run Gate to Sovngarde
I was very intrigued by a huge Nexus Mods collection called Gate to Sovngarde, which has over 1,000 mods in it and does a major overhaul of how Skyrim works. However, nothing I have to game on is currently capable of fully running it! This is a writeup of my experiments with this, and includes a few screenshots taken while trying it on the Steam Deck.

In Which Elessir Seeks Azura’s Star and Joins the Thieves Guild
In which Elessir is tasked by Azura to restore her broken Star, and recovers it from Ilinalta's Deep; slays the bandit Tyra Blood-Fire, after she challenges him; clears a mine of a spider infestation; joins the Thieves Guild in Riften, but with less extortion than they ask him for; recovers the Headman's Cleaver from Lost Knife Hideout, and a Khajiit's amulet from Treva's Watch; and clears out a skooma den on behalf of Riften.

Some Final Thoughts on Running Project AHO
A followup post about running Project AHO, with some final thoughts about what frustrated me about this mod's overall plot. And what I would do to fix it. Obviously, this contains major spoilers for Project AHO, so read with caution if you think you might want to try this mod in a future Skyrim playthrough.

In Which Kendeshel Returns a Horn, Saves a Tree, and Adopts a Daughter
In which Kendeshel pries secrets out of the depths of Bkhalzarf; joins the Bards College in Solitude; investigates the Pelagius Wing in the Blue Palace and winds up with the Wabbajack; returns the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller to the Greybeards; quests through a barrow along with a young treasure hunter and her Argonian friend; discovers a VERY interesting codex; helps Danica Pure-Spring with the Gildergreen in Whiterun; and adopts young Lucia, so that she can live in Breezehome and take care of Meeko.

Fic: Repentance and Resolve
The ending of the Project AHO mod, for all its frustrations, has actually sparked off _another_ scene in my head--because I ran into a significant character from the mod, yet again, even though that plot is now over. My Dragonborn had some OPINIONS on that, and this scene is now my headcanon for how that conversation went.
