In Which Finds-The-Way Faces Alduin and Wrecks a Wedding
My final Skyrim catchup post for the month of January swings me back around to Finds-The-Way’s playthrough! This session has Finds finally having her first meeting with Hermaeus Mora and her first crack at Alduin on the Throat of the World, but it also moves the Dark Brotherhood plot along considerably. Took out some contracts! Discovered Amaund Motierre’s big plan! Really screwed over a wedding in Solitude! And squared off against Cicero in Dawnstar! And got herself a nifty (probably) Daedric horse!

In Which Elessir Slays Mudcrabs and Commits Thievery
Back to Elessir! This session, his last from January of this year, was a mishmash of side questing, pretty much. Lots of fishing and thievery!

In Which Kendeshel Slays a Whole Lot of Vampires
Swinging back around finally to Kendeshel’s stalled playthrough in Skyrim! This session is from January 27th of this year, and features a lot of side questing to find items for Legacy of the Dragonborn; running the Laid to Rest plot in Morthal, and taking out the vampires in Movarth’s Lair; and claiming Bloodchill Manor, by way of taking out the vampires there, too.

In Which Elessir Defeats Lord Harkon
And now, finally, it’s time to swing back around to Skyrim posts, to get caught up on the playthroughs I still have in progress on that game even if ESO’s mostly eaten my brain this year.
So here’s a post to get caught up with Elessir’s playthrough. Main action here is finishing up the Dawnguard questline with him, with extra side commentary this time just because I’m running the Serana Dialogue Edit mod in this run.

In Which Finds-The-Way Quests for the Guild, the Fishery, and the Brotherhood
More mid-December Skyrim catchup, this time with Finds-The-Way. Main action here is her moving stuff along with the Thieves Guild, fishing-related quests, and most importantly, finally joining the Dark Brotherhood!

In Which Elessir Becomes Thane of Hjaalmarch and the Pale
Now that I’m finally done rebuilding all the galleries, I can get caught up on backlogged playthrough posts! Here’s another round of Elessir, mostly covering stuff I’ve done before in other playthroughs, but with a bit of Lucien commentary. Main action: taking out J’datharr the Thalmor assassin; slaying the dragon Vuljotnaak; beginning my run through The Cause; getting the amulet fragments from Geirmund’s Hall and Folgunthur; acquiring Dawnfang & Duskfang from the Guardian Vault in the Ratway; taking over Bloodchill Manor after clearing the vampires out of there; becoming Thane of the Pale after slaying a giant for Skald; and becoming Thane of Hjaalmarch after clearing out the vampires in Movarth’s Lair.

In Which Kendis Fights Through Game Performance Problems to Defeat Miraak
Knocking out two sessions at once here, basically covering my hard push through Solstheim to try to get a sense of how much of it is, in fact, functional. And because I want to get Kendis’ playthrough over and done with.
Main action here is finishing off a bunch of the stuff I usually run on Solstheim, and also wrestling with the very buggy behavior when trying to make the weapon Trueflame.

In Which Elessir Becomes Thane of Falkreath and Joins the Bards College
First of two posts I intend to put up today, to get caught up on Elessir’s playthrough. Main action in this one: becoming thane in Falkreath, running Ustengrav, and joining the Bards College. With a side helping of frustration over false starts and crashes!

In Which Kendis Becomes Thane of Haafingar and Fights the Mythic Dawn
Time for catchup with Kendis in Skyrim! Main action in this post: clearing Sunderstone Gorge; defeating the ghost of Potema in the Solitude catacombs; getting the Wabbajack; killing Crowstooth at Arcwind Point; questing through Varlais Cavern and then Red Scar Cavern, and triggering the Oblivion gate; questing in the Deadlands; saving Malborn from assassination; initial action to get the thaneship in the Reach; and lots and lots and lots of fishing.

In Which Kendis Slays Harkon and Does Side Quests
Main action in this post is finishing up Dawnguard, then also doing a bunch of side questing. And forgetting that if I’m going to do the quests to de-wolfify Vilkas and Farkas in the Companions, and I’m on a non-modded build, I have to do Farkas first. Oops.
