In Which Faanshi Acquires Dawnbreaker and Returns a Dog to His Master
In keeping with the tradition set up by previous playthroughs, I ran A Daedra’s Best Friend pretty much simultaneously with The Break of Dawn in this session–which let me, yet again, have the Daedra dog Barbas on hand to help me run Kilkreath and get Dawnbreaker. I continue to have no fucks to give about either the Rueful Axe or the Masque of Clavicus Vile, but oh boy howdy do I have fucks to give about Dawnbreaker! And Barbas continues to be helpful in getting it.

In Which Ysani Goes to the Greybeards
Major action here: finishing off the Halted Stream Camp bounty run, acquiring a bunch more spells, making it to High Hrothgar, and beginning the run through Shroud Hearth Barrow!
-
In Which Ysani Fights Her First Dragon
Now we’re getting the game underway in earnest, with Ysani Demers making it through investigating Bleak Falls Barrow and returning to Whiterun–only to have a huge surprise when she’s called upon to help fight off a dragon at the Western Watchtower.
Surprise, Ysani! You’re Dragonborn! Or, rather, “Enfant de dragon!”

In Which Delga Hunts for Schematics and Blood Samples
This session was more tying up of loose ends post-Dawnguard: hunting for more schematics for Sorine, visiting the Paragon Portal in the Forgotten Vale, and tracking down the remaining needed blood samples for Septimus.
And oh yes: getting the Oghma Infinium, and the next meeting with Hermaeus Mora!

In Which Delga Becomes Harbinger of the Companions
Short but narratively important session that saw the conclusion of the main Companions plotline, wherein I got to cure the spirit of Kodlak of his lycanthropy, and get proclaimed the new Harbinger of the Companions. Go me!

In Which Delga is Inducted into the Companions
This post covers two different sessions–Sunday the 31st and Monday the 1st. Sunday’s was a super short session so I bundled that in with this post.
Main highlight of this action: my young orc passing her trial to be inducted into the Companions! With a side helping of bandits.

In Which Merawen Hunts Still More Vampires for the Dawnguard
This was another session all about the Dawnguard side quests, because I had to chug through a few more to finally get to the last one I wanted to do! With the obligatory side helpings of confronting dragons and bandits, and this time also Thalmor. And more building work on Heljarchen Hall as well.
Plus, Gregor the housecarl is now properly outfitted with his own suit of dragonplate armor, as well as dragonbone weapons. You work for the Dragonborn, you will be outfitted correctly!
Also, this post contains considerable saltiness about the Hide and Seek quest, since I got another round of that. And today’s favorite Skyrim bug: trying to rescue a kidnap victim from vampires, only to discover the kidnap victim has buggered off for home all by herself!

In Which Merawen Learns Who Took the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller
This was another very eventful session, with a lot of bouncing around between various locations, and some moving along of the main plot as well. Main-plot-wise, I’m to the point of having the Thalmor Embassy as the next major thing to do. Side-plot-wise, I got Dawnbreaker! And spent enough time in Whiterun that it felt a lot like an Alarrah session, really.
Which just goes to show that I need to get back to the Thieves Guild. Muahaha.

In Which the Dragonborn Discovers the Oghma Infinium
This session was basically all about these goals:
- Improve my carrying capacity as this is an ongoing problem
- Finish up the Discerning the Transmundane quest
- Burn through more of my excess building materials by building more things!
This was a very scattershot sort of session, though, since I bounced around all over the place. And I’m not sure I have everything in exact order. That said, highlights and details behind the fold!

In Which the Dragonborn Quests to Repair the White Phial
This session was mostly all about the side quests, some longer than others, with the primary one being the final stage of the quest about the White Phial in Windhelm.
