In Which Delga Marries, Adopts Children, and Retakes Thirsk Mead Hall

This session turned out to be a bit more eventful than planned–in no small part because I finally went ahead and got married, and adopted two children! All because Neloth decided to order me to go look at a Briarheart for him, which in turned required leaving Solstheim again for a trip back to the mainland.

Who I married: Aela the Huntress! Who I adopted: Sofie and Lucia. Where I settled them: Lakeview Manor.

    Deets behind the fold!

In Which Delga Goes to Tel Mithryn and Nchardak

This is my Skyrim post for the last play I did, on Monday 1/10, just before my house internet came back up. This is also the most recent Skyrim post I have to share with y’all, since I didn’t play last night; I was too busy dealing with necessary aftermaths of bringing the house net back up.

Since I’m posting this with normal functionality restored, it will be cross-posted to Dreamwidth as per usual.

This run was kind of short as it was done on a Monday night, but it let me get in some action on the way to Tel Mithryn, have my initial meeting with the wizard Neloth, and get started on running Nchardak at Neloth’s behest!

In Which Delga Defeats an Undead General and Foils an Assassination

This post is for Skyrim play done while my house internet was down, and I posted a Dreamwidth version of this post over here.

This is the play session done for the wee hours of the morning of Sunday 1/8, in which I took out the undead General Falx Carius at Fort Frostmoth, helped the Redoran Guard slay a Revered Dragon, and then foiled an assassination attempt against Raven Rock’s leader, Councilor Morvayn! Which won me the right to take over Severin Manor.

In Which Delga Escapes from Bloodskal Barrow and Finds More Schematics for the Dawnguard

This post is for play done while my house internet was down, and accordingly, I posted the first version of this to Dreamwidth directly without crossposting. The Dreamwidth version of this post is here.

This is my Skyrim play session from the night of Friday 1/7, in which Delga and her housecarl Calder finish their quest through Bloodskal Barrow! And with a side helping of finding a couple more schematics for Sorine of the Dawnguard. (Which by definition required going back to the mainland for a little while!)

In Which Delga Begins Questing through Raven Rock Mine and Bloodskal Barrow

This Skyrim post is for the play I did on Thursday 1/6, which happened to be the same day our internet went down. So I spent a lot of that night trying to deal with the fallout from that, which resulted in this play session being a lot shorter than I might have liked. I will not be crossposting it to Dreamwidth, as there is already a version of this post here.

Main thing accomplished here was to get the quest to clear Raven Rock Mine and Bloodskal Barrow underway. I didn’t finish it in this session, that was done on Friday 1/7, but I’m doing this post separately just because the 1/7 one will be long.

In Which Delga Goes to Solstheim

Note to all: This post is several days after the fact, since my house Internet went down on Thursday 1/6/2022, and only has come up again five days later. Not cross-posting this to Dreamwidth because I put up a mirror version of this same post on that site already, here.

With this session, I officially kick off the Dragonborn DLC activity for this playthrough! And the way the session action played out, Delga and her housecarl Calder made it to Solstheim and almost immediately got caught up in the mystery of what’s going on with Miraak taking over the minds of the people of the island.

In Which Delga Lays Her Steward to Rest

This was an extremely low-key session, in which I focused on a circuit through all of Delga’s houses. I gathered loot for selling, did a bunch of crafting, got level 62’s round of training, and in general prepared to head over to Solstheim and tackle the Dragonborn plot.

And, notably, I spent some time making a proper resting place for poor deceased Ria, Companion and my steward at Heljarchen Hall.
