Here are my screenshots for the playthrough for Gyllerah of the Altmer, in Elder Scrolls Online! I cannot paginate these, so apologies for the length of this album list.
Tall Ship by the Alinor Docks
Not clear to me if this is an Altmer ship, Redguard, or what, but regardless it looked neat. There are only a couple of examples of non-wrecked ships in Skyrim, so seeing this here was cool.
Building Near the Docks
I don't know what this building near the docks was, either; I didn't go into it. But I liked the framing of it with the trees.
Nuzon 1
Relax, Nuzon, my dude. I'm just here to buy things! (Also: LOL. So what is he actually hiding? Or is he just twitchy because the Divine Prosecution are the frigging Thalmor? Which, y'know, legit .)
Marakar
This Khajiit, on the other hand, is rather smoother in his sales pitch.
Scenery Shot 1
Me practicing with flipping off the UI via my newly mapped ; button, and also just because gosh, this was a gorgeous spot.
Naliara Has Opinions
I detect some issues with Mehdze, here.
Naliara DEFINITELY Has Opinions
I am simultaneously very curious about this particular little bit of character drama, and very glad my Khajiit pal and I got only peripherally involved!
To Be Fair, Naliara Has a Point
And once we met this guy, I began to see Naliara was pretty justified in bailing on him. He was clearly not reluctant to recruit the next nearby handy adventurers to help him with his little endeavor!
So In Other Words, You're a Bard
As a player, I was pleased to be involved in a bard plot. As a character... yeah , this guy is full of himself, isn't he? Pretty cool outfit, though.
Clue 1
Once Paul and I teamed up with Mehdze to finish up the plot, we started finding signs that his grand epic was not nearly as founded on reality as he would have liked. Trading doesn't seem like the stuff of a mighty battle...?
Clue 2
I am shocked, SHOCKED I SAY, that my Altmer kin would be so dispassionate in their evaluation of an area they wanted, and coolly snarking about the inhabitants. (Spoiler alert: not actually shocked.)
Clue 3
So of course the Altmer decided to just take the territory. Yeah, Mehdze, you better rethink your epic.
Mehdze Clues In
And to be fair to Mehdze, he did understand the implications of what we learned here! So maybe he's not entirely an idiot, Naliara's opinions notwithstanding.
Okay, So Not Nearly as Much of an Idiot As Naliara Thinks
Write your epic, my dude, but yeaaaaaah, get off the island as soon as you perform it. Need any help getting a ticket? Escort to the ship? I know a couple of adventurers.
Mehdze and K'sragi
I tried to get a screencap of Paul emoting triumphantly next to Mehdze! But didn't snap him fast enough. Damn! I need to work more on my screencapping mojo, clearly!
Scenery Shot 3
A pleasant little pond with floating lilies and cherry trees.
Inspecting the Chickens
I don't know if this NPC was counting, inspecting, or conversing with the chickens or what.
Snabazkur
I kind of love this guy. <3
Nuzon 2
Nuzon, my dude, I get the feeling you don't actually like it here?
Scenery Shot 4
Evening at the seashore. Don't know what those structures are in the distance? Also, vaguely startled to be on a beach with no horkers!
Puzzling Remains
No earthly idea what this was? Presumably not a Daedra if it left behind an actual skeleton of sorts?
Scenery Shot 5
Another pond shot, this one with a nice lit arch in the background there. Clearly, the Altmer of Alinor like a lot of pink and purple in their local shrubbery.
Welenkin Abyssal Geyser
Saw this from afar and came over to check it out. Because if there's anything I've learned from Skyrim and Morrowind, it's that large bursts of light like this can't be good.
Welenkin Cove
A cluster of glowing purple things spelled 'yeah maybe I better come back and investigate this with Paul later'.
Lute Player
While I am delighted to hear NPC bards singing things that aren't Ragnar the Red, The Dragonborn Comes, or The Age of Aggression, I feel obligated as a guitarist to note that NO PLAYER OF A STRINGED INSTRUMENT WOULD EVER HOLD IT LIKE THAT. Also, where is her shoulder strap? Clearly, this elf is using a levitation spell to keep the lute in place while she's playing.
Feeding the Seagull
There were actually three seagulls when I found this NPC, but a couple of them flew off before I could take the screenshot. I really like this sort of incidental detail in this city.
