Kendis Screenshots Here are my screenshots for the playthrough for the Redguard Kendis! I cannot paginate these, so apologies for the length of this album list. « back to albumKendis Sessions 53-55 Harkon 1If you're a werewolf, you can challenge Harkon about what would happen to you if you took him up on his offer to make you a vampire.Harkon 2Unsurprisingly, Harkon will still have no patience for you if you turn him down, even if you are a werewolf. And given that he'd just told me that making me a vampire like him would purge filth from my blood and make me whole, arguably he'd have even less patience with Kendis than he would a non-werewolf!A Very Glitchy WhiterunThis was SUPPOSED to be the Wind District in Whiterun, as viewed when I came out the front entrance of Jorrvaskr. Not so much. I've continued to get periodic graphical glitches on the Switch in this playthrough, definitely more pronounced than when I ran all my previous Special Edition playthroughs. It seems like the AE is pushing harder on the Switch's capabilities than the SE did.Hulda 1Since I was in Whiterun anyway trying to get the Traveler to spawn, I took advantage of the proximity of the Bannered Mare to also move the Dawnguard plot along and chat with Hulda about whether she'd seen the Moth Priest. This was her reply!Hulda 2And Hulda was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction, too! Thanks Hulda! I will totally come back by here with Rulnik and the girls for a proper dinner as soon as I finish killing me some vampires.Serana Rocking Out 1Meanwhile, while I'm talking to Hulda, Serana was over there blending in by grabbing a mug of mead and listening to Mikael warble about the Age of Aggression!Serana Rocking Out 2Serana honey, you and I both know that mead isn't doing a damned thing to you, but +10 for your roll on Looking As Normal as Possible.Kendis in Dawnguard ArmorNope. Still not really a fan of this armor!Mother and DaughterSerana and Valerica side by side, after we took out Durnehviir. What strikes me here is that Valerica's eyes don't have a distinct pupil, they're just straight up gold fire. Serana's still at least have pupils. Presumably this was a deliberate character design choice, but I'm curious as to what might have motivated it. Maybe vampire eyes look less and less human-like the longer a vampire lives? And Valerica is pretty frigging old, and hasn't spent that time in magical stasis inside a tomb like Serana did.Claiming Arngeir's ChairSerana seizes the opportunity to claim Arngeir's chair once he stands up to talk to me. To be fair, I guess he did warm up it nicely for her? Maybe a vampire would appreciate a warmed chair even more than a mortal.Disintegrating VampireDuring a fight with Volkihar vampires just outside of Riften, Serana raised one of the enemy vamps. And here's that vamp disintegrating into ash afterwards! Given that she and her compatriots killed the stableworker Shadr, I say good riddance.Kraldar 1And now Winterhold is in the hands of the Jarl who isn't an asshole! I like Kraldar, he's a lot more laid back than his predecessor.Kraldar 2And oh hey, he even has room in his court for a new thane! So about that, Kraldar, how do you feel about my being the Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold? Will that work for you? It will? AWESOME.Kendis in Zelda GearAnd here's the obligatory screencap of Kendis in the Zelda gear, from the easter egg chest at the top of the Throat of the World. <3
