Shenner Screenshots Here are my screenshots for the playthrough for Shenner of the Nords! I cannot paginate these, so apologies for the length of this album list. « back to albumShenner Session 56 Apocrypha 1This was me running the Black Book level for Benkongerike. Took this shot because of those glowing green swirls in the foreground--which I do not remember seeing on previous runs. It's a small detail but it really added to the eeriness of Apocrypha.Apocrypha 2Another shot of the Black Book run in Apocrypha for Benkongerike. What stood out for me here was just how far I could see. Which added a lot to the perceived size of Hermaeus Mora's realm here. Note also that there are tendrils coming down from above, in the distance. I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be Hermaeus Mora himself, just far enough away that the player doesn't interact with him at this point.Ayleid LichCalled up this guy again to help me out fighting Seekers. He looks kind of appropriate here in Apocrypha! The Mortar and Pestle's Second FloorI had somehow never registered that the building that contains Dawnstar's apothecary actually has a balcony. I spotted somebody sitting up here during my visit to Dawnstar this run, just hanging out there drinking a mug of something. Not sure who it actually was up there? I can't find a confirmation on the wiki. Pretty sure it wasn't Frida herself, though, the clothes look wrong.Sunset at Katla's FarmI snapped this pic just because the overall quality of the light really stood out to me here. This is Katla's Farm, just outside Solitude, where the Solitude stables are. This was a neat sunset shot, with the sun going down in the background, and everything casting shadows. Even the chicken in the foreground has a chicken-sized shadow. And there's depth of view action here as well, with how I can see some details of the rocks and the trees back behind the buildings.Sunset at Lakeview ManorAnother sunset shot, again because of the quality of the light and shadow standing out to me. This is at Lakeview Manor, with me standing just in front of the house. Kind of loving that orange sky in the background.Rescuing Curate MelitaI came back to the Skyrim mainland in this session, mostly because I just wanted to do a loot-selling run and also check out how everything looked in Ultra graphics. But I also took the time to swing by Stony Creek Cave and rescue this NPC for the Ghosts of the Tribunal quest. I told her I was there to rescue her in the name of the goddess.Melita's MercyMelita stopped on her way out of the cave to check out this bandit lying dead where I'd dropped him. Uh, yeah, he stood between me and getting you out of here. You're okay with that, right? JUST CHECKING. (Still, I do like seeing NPCs reacting to the deaths of other NPCs. It makes things seem more real.)Fish in Stony Creek CaveI don't know if it's a factor of the Ultra tier graphics, the better overall light levels on the Steam Deck's build of the game, or both--but I was quite struck in Stony Creek Cave about how clear the water was in there, and how well I could see the fish swimming around. And the water acted a lot more like I'd expect water to act in real life. It looked really neat. <3Fish in Stony Creek Cave 2Another shot of the fish in the water inside Stony Creek Cave.Ashy Night Sky Over Raven RockBack on Solstheim, I happened to show up at night, which meant I got to see this sky. What I couldn't capture in a static screenshot was that the ash plume coming off Red Mountain was moving. There's also more depth to it than I'm used to seeing. I'm going to doublecheck when Faanshi gets to Solstheim in her run, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen that ash plume actually in motion before!Raven Rock by Ashy NightThis is another shot to show off Raven Rock at night, but with the line of sight actually along the town itself rather than above. I wanted to capture sense of how far along the town I could see.A Hand of the TempleOnce I returned to Ashfall's Tear, I really wanted another look at that gorgeous green flooring all over the place in there. I was not disappointed. Holy crap that green floor is gorgeous and how expensive must it have been for the temple folk to gather all that material? Also in this picture: one of the temple Hands, in the Her Hand armor.Green Floor and PlantersAnother gratuitous pretty green floor shot, with a couple of planters full of flowers. Definitely now one of the most gorgeously decorated spots on all of Solstheim.Temple ArmoryFinally got access to the temple armory as part of the Ashen Heart plot. With yet more of the gorgeous green floor.Mannequin with Mask of Sotha SilOne of the armory mannequins, wearing Her Hand armor and the Mask of Sotha Sil.Mannequin with Mask of AlmalexiaThe central armory mannequin, wearing an extravagant robe and the Mask of Almalexia.Mannequin with Mask of VivecAnother armory mannequin, again in Her Hand armor, with the Mask of Vivec.
