Here are my screenshots for the playthrough for Tembriel of the Bosmer, in Morrowind! I cannot paginate these, so apologies for the length of this album list.
Tembriel Crouching in Dark Brotherhood Armor
One advantage of how I've set up my controller mappings on the Steam Deck: I'm actually able to snap a picture of myself while crouching in Sneak mode, a thing I cannot do in Skyrim. And, given the overall NO GODDAMMIT I AM NOT A DUDE theme of the post this screenshot goes with, I do have to admit, it's very hard to tell I'm not a dude in this armor. So I can plausibly buy most NPCs not cluing in!
Level 10 Achieved
Hurray, Level 10! Which was very helpful for being able to go take out the Camonna Tong in the Council Club.
Pretty Sure I Didn't Chop Him in Half
Sovor Trandel fell and clipped very badly through the wall when I fought him in the Council Club. LOL. The Daedric katana must have been clearly better than I thought as a weapon, if I bisected him? Must have been a hell of a swing!
Larrius Varro's Little Story Has a Happy Ending
And oh hey look he found me a really nice gift to show the Emperor's gratitude.
Sending Me Off to Ald'ruhn
Caius, my dude, I get that you're sending me out to fulfill the Emperor's orders, but did you not have anybody to go get all this information available BEFORE I showed up? No? Okay FINE I'll go to Ald'ruhn.
Sovor's Shirt Looks Better On Me 1
First of two screenshots in which I try on Sovor Trandel's shirt. Frankly, I think it looks better on me! And it kind of works well with the skirt I like, too.
Sovor's Shirt Looks Better On Me 2
Second of two screenshots in which I try on Sovor Trandel's shirt, which looks pretty good with these pants, too. And again: honestly, I do look kind of androgynous! I could see Tilda Swinton with longer hair playing this character.
Silt Strider Operator in an Ash Storm
The silt Ssrider operator in Ald'ruhn is apparently dedicated enough to his job that he will stand up here waiting to pick up passengers even during a frigging ash storm. Dude. Can't you at least wrap your head up or something?
Tembriel in an Ash Storm
Of course, I don't have much cause to be snarking on somebody being out in an ash storm. But at least my armor keeps my face protected! Took this screenshot mostly out of interest that when I was in third person view during the ash storm in Ald'ruhn, I defaulted to having my arm up in front of my face, just like the silt strider operator.
Hassour is Grateful
And apparently gracious enough to not tell me he already owns a copy of this book. Well, we'll assume I left a gift receipt between the pages as a bookmark.
Caius Clues Me In
Wait, hold up, the Emperor wants me to do WHAT NOW?
Even My Orders Misgender Me
Well okay fine I suppose this is what I get for deliberately hiding my gender in prison. Boy, is the Emperor going to be surprised when he finds out I'm actually female!
Recruiting Outside Help
Captain Andas NATURALLY can't actually hire me, because he can only hire Ordinators, and let me guess, outlanders can't be Ordinators, right? And I'm supposed to convince these people I'm the Nerevarine? Okay FINE well I suppose I can start by solving this murder for them.
Questioning a Witness
Thank you for your cooperation, ma'am!
More Canalworks Art
I find Vivec's architecture mostly kind of heavy and forbidding. But I gotta admit, I do kind of like that at least there's some art on the walls in the two canalworks I've been in so far. I kind of wish this kind of mural was in more places, it'd make Vivec look cooler and more lived-in. But I suppose having that detail commonly in place on various walls might have been beyond the capabilities of the game design at the time of release?
The Promised Reward
True to his word, Captain Andas does hand over a reward to me for finding the dangerous killer. Thanks! I'll put this to good use. Consider having your Ordinators snark less at outlanders, won't you?
