In Which Elessir Opens an Oblivion Gate and Joins the Dawnguard
Short-ish post for Elessir’s Skyrim run, just because nothing terribly new here. But I do as always have some commentary!
Main action here: finishing running The Cause; getting the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal and the sword Bloodthirst; a bit of Thieves Guild shenanigans; and finally joining the Dawnguard.

In Which Harrowhark Visits the Forgotten City
All of my Skyrim posts are spoiler-laden by definition. But this one has a particularly high volume of spoilers, because in the two sessions covered here, I talk about running the plot for the Forgotten City mod. If you haven’t ever played this mod and think you might want to, and if having spoilers in advance would wreck your ability to enjoy the mod, I strongly recommend you bookmark this post and come back to it later.
If you want a short spoiler-free review, check this post instead. (And if you’re reading this post directly on Dreamwidth instead of on the main Anna Plays Skyrim site, here’s the direct Dreamwidth version of the spoiler-free post.)
And now, let’s talk about the Forgotten City! With a side helping of getting the swords Bloodthirst and Red Eagle’s Bane, killing a dragon at Fort Greymoor, and seeing a herd of wild horses. <3
This post is very long, because I have a lot to say about the mod. Brace for verbosity!

In Which Skyrim Together is More of a Mess Than the First Time
Dara, Mel, and I got together again over this past weekend to take another stab at Skyrim Together Reborn. It did not go particularly well, but this time for causes seemingly external to the game. We think?

In Which Shenner Acquires Bloodthirst and Becomes Thane of the Pale
Combo of new stuff and old stuff in this one! Action that does not, despite the title of this post, include becoming a vampire. Deets behind the fold!

In Which Merawen Hunts More Vampires for the Dawnguard
Shortish session this time, again all about the side quests for the Dawnguard, but with stops at both Proudspire Manor and the mage college!
