In Which Merawen Robs a Museum and Seeks the Staff of Magnus
More tightly focused goals this session, with a focus specifically on the Thieves Guild plot and the Mage College plot. Side activity was restricted to just selling and/or dropping off loot in Whiterun, and doing a little bit of Smithing at Warmaiden’s.
Details behind the fold!

In Which the Dragonborn Begins the Hunt for Miraak
This session saw me finishing up the hunt for the Dragon Priest masks—and commencing the hunt for the other Dragonborn, Miraak, on the island of Solstheim.
It also saw the death of my horse, slain by a snowy sabre cat on my way to the Forelhost ruin. RIP, Alarrah’s Horse! You were a very good horse. Too bad you were only level four. 😢

In Which the Dragonborn Enacts Her Plan
More major plot advancement in this session, with a break in between for visiting a bit of Labyrinthian I hadn’t seen before!
And since this too is chock fulla spoilers for the tail end of the main Skyrim plotline, everything goes behind the fold!

In Which the Dragonborn Adopts a Child
So a big part of this session involved getting both Ulfric Stormcloak and General Tullius to agree to show up for the Graybeards’ peace conference. But I also did a bunch of side things, and I think most importantly for Alarrah’s general long-term life plans, I finally adopted Lucia, the orphan who’s been begging in Whiterun!
Highlights and details all behind the fold!

In Which the Dragonborn Becomes Arch-Mage and Thane of Winterhold
Previously on “Alarrah the Dragonborn”, I’d gone seeking the Staff of Magnus. And in this session, I found it–and finished the main quest line for the College of Winterhold! Also became thane of Winterhold, while I was at it.
Did a lot in this session, so this is a long post.

In Which the Dragonborn Goes to Morthal and Slays a Giant
Still not entirely ready to take on main plot quests again, I decided for last night’s Skyrim run that my goal was going to be returning to Morthal and seeing if I could help a couple more of their people so that I could become Thane.
First, the obligatory shopping run. Got rid of a lot of things, and bought a few other things—including picking up some steel plate armor to better outfit Lydia, and some boots as well. That armor does not go well with the dwarven helmet and gauntlets. I need to get her a less silly looking helmet.
