In Which Elessir Seeks Azura’s Star and Joins the Thieves Guild
Time to get caught up on Elessir! Main action here: going after Azura’s Star; fighting Tyra Blood-Fire (right after slaying an Elder Dragon); acquiring the Headman’s Cleaver; joining the Thieves Guild; and taking out a nest of skooma dealers to work on the thaneship in Riften.
-
In Which Harrowhark Gains a Thaneship and a Khajiit Follower
Double session post! Main action here: achieving the thaneship in Falkreath; reaching Haemar’s Shame and getting the directive to fetch the Rueful Axe; taking out the bandits at Treva’s Watch; buying the land for Lakeview Manor, and beginning its building; fetching the Rueful Axe from Rimerock Burrow, and then delivering it to Clavicus Vile to get him to take Barbas back; acquiring the sword Dawnfang and Duskfang from the depths of the Ratway; getting Grelod the Kind arrested for abusing her charges; and last but not least, acquiring a Khajiit companion with extremely odd ideas about why he needed to voluntarily commit himself to the Riften jail.

In Which Ysani Seeks the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller and Becomes Thane of Falkreath
This was a nicely action-packed session, seeing the clearing of Treva’s Watch and the payment of the bounty for the bandit chief there, as well as venturing into Ustengrav in search of the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller. Plus, I have now fully furnished Breezehome, and become thane in Falkreath.
And I didn’t actively plan to initiate the Thieves Guild plotline this session, but it kinda worked out that way!
-
In Which Ysani Acquires Dawnbreaker and Journeys into the Rift
Major notable thing in this session was getting Dawnbreaker! \0/ But also getting the Masque of Clavicus Vile, working on favor quests to get the thaneship in Falkreath, and heading into the Rift to take on the bandit bounty at Treva’s Watch.

In Which Merawen Clears Treva’s Watch and Encounters the Ebony Warrior
A bit more advancement of the main plot, as I made it up to High Hrothgar to get the Greybeards’ buy off on this whole peace conference idea. But also, I cleared Treva’s Watch and got in considerable exercise of Illusion and Destruction.
And, while on the way to Windhelm to ask Ulfric to show up for the peace conference, I finally found the Ebony Warrior!

In Which Merawen Finally Returns at Least a Bit to the Main Plot
As of this session I found myself growing a bit weary of tromping around throwing a bunch of Illusion and Destruction spells around, and looking for excuses to pick fights with bandits and/or Falmer. So in between doing all of that, I did finally go to Dragonsreach in Whiterun, and get the Jarl to agree to help me trap a dragon—if I could do something about this war thing going on.
-
In Which Merawen Battles the Chicken Necromancer
This was another “wander the land” session, doing what Paul tells me he calls “general adventuring”. The idea here being, wander around and see if something interesting happens!
And in this session’s wandering, I encountered what’s possibly the most delightful NPC encounter in all of Skyrim I’ve had to date!
