In Which Kendis Confronts Alduin, Interrupts Necromancers, and Recovers a Shard
Wow, I am super behind on my playthrough posts. And I’ve been so heavily playing ESO lately that my Skyrim playthroughs have actually lagged! I’ve hit a point where ESO has become more interesting just because it’s got way more content I actually haven’t played yet.
But that said, here are the last three sessions I’ve done with Kendis on the Switch, the earliest of which was back in late May, and the last of which was last night.

In Which Faanshi Hunts More Stones and Viinturuth
This session was all about fetching the last few Stones of Barenziah, hence running Sunderstone Gorge, Rannveig’s Fast, and Yngvild. With a side helping of taking out the dragon Viinturuth!

In Which Shenner is Proclaimed the Fisher Queen
I actually did main plot stuff in this session–i.e., visiting Paarthurnax and getting the objective to find the Elder Scroll, and learning the Clear Skies Shout–but I’m way more amused by how I got word that a song was written about how awesome I have become at fishing. LOL. Spent time on other side quests as well, finishing off the Pets plotline, recovering a staff for Enthir to get Onmund’s amulet back, and finding a couple aspects of the game that were buggy even though I’m running the USSEP in this playthrough.

In Which Ysani Slays a Necromancer, Then Slays Mercer Frey
Warmup act for this session: running Yngvild. Main event: running Irkngthand, for the final confrontation with Mercer Frey!

In Which Ysani Journeys Northward
This was the session for Friday 1/18, the second of two posts I’m putting up today. And even though this was a Friday night session, it was shorter than normal because I had an evening eye appointment to get to, and then a lot of errands to run on the way back from that.
Plus, I had to get up early for chiro today. So I didn’t want to stay up till stupid-o’clock playing Skyrim. Result: this mostly was a road trip kind of session, in between bigger action.

In Which Delga Acquires Azura’s Star and Joins the Imperial Legion
This is another double session post. Sunday night’s session, where I got the broken Azura’s Star from Ilinalta’s Deep, was not really long enough of a session to warrant a post all by itself.
Monday’s session, on the other hand, turned into a monster! Not only did I get Azura’s Star repaired, I also joined the Imperial Legion. So now I’ve officially taken a side in the war for Skyrim!
And oh yeah: I’m also now thane of Winterhold!

In Which Merawen Joins the Bard’s College, Gets Azura’s Star, and Becomes Thane of Winterhold
This was another one of those sessions where I was all over the map. Just about everything I did in this run was stuff I’d already done as Alarrah but which I enjoyed, so I wanted to do again–plus, the skill bonuses were important and I wanted to rack those up. I moved the mage college plot along a little further, ran the entire bard college plot, got Azura’s Star, and became thane of Winterhold. And oh yes, I also finally fully furnished Breezehome.
I did however also do a few new things, including trying out housecarl Rayya as a follower, running the Yngvild dungeon, and doing a thievery job in Windhelm that required me to break into the house of Brunwulf Free-Winter.

In Which the Dragonborn Meets the True Leader of the Greybeards
Decided to go ahead and move forward with the next stage of the main quest last night, partly just because this one was particularly important plot-wise, but also because that stage was necessary to unlock the next stage of the White Phial quest!
