Elessir Screenshots Here are my screenshots for the playthrough for Elessir of the Dunmer! I cannot paginate these, so apologies for the length of this album list. « back to albumElessir Sessions 2-5 Elessir in Barbarian ArmorBarbarian Armor is a thing brought in by the Immersive Armors mod. It does seem in theme with some of the wilder Nords (i.e., bandits), but definitely not in theme for Elessir. Even if trying this armor on does tell me that yes, I made the right body type choice when I created him in the character generation UI! And this also highlights that it's a little weird to see a shirtless Dunmer in Skyrim and that the current mods I'm running do have a bit of a problem with consistency of skin tone. You can tell that Elessir's body is not the same color as the skin around his eyes, from what you can see with this helmet.Father and DaughterWhen I went to find Proventus to get the reward from him for the Bow of Shadows quest, I found him sitting at this table in Dragonsreach with Adrianne, his daughter who owns the forge at Warmaiden's. There isn't any food on the table but I really like the idea of Adrianne coming up to Dragonsreach to have dinner with her father. <3Music at the Bannered MareThe bard Mikael plays flute for patrons of the Bannered Mare. I really like the overall atmosphere of this scene. <3 And I love how the Immersive Citizens mod's behavior changes for NPCs means I can, in fact, see a nicely crowded inn at night in the game!Aww Gee ThanksFarengar is one of the more stuck-up characters in the game, but even he can periodically do something nice. Thank you, Farengar! <3Gathering Roadside IngredientsI think this was the point at which I was training the horse to let me gather ingredients while mounted? But I didn't fight a dragon in that session, at least not one right near the crossroads by the Whiterun stable. I think this dragon skeleton in the background might have been Mirmulnir? Either that, or the dragon I'd just killed over by Halted Stream pulling a dragon stalk and re-rendering closer to me there.Night Sky Over Whiterun 1First of a few obligatory sky shots, because in this playthrough I'm using a variant of the Ethereal Cosmos mod that uses more vivid colors. Very happy with the results. <3Night Sky Over Whiterun 2Another night sky shot in Whiterun, with bonus Lydia in silver armor in the foreground.Night Sky Over Whiterun 3And here's the third of the night sky over Whiterun shots. This one is just in front of the Bannered Mare. Vanilla Skyrim does not put a tree in this square; this is an addition from Dawn of Skyrim. Which I like. <3Elessir in Shrouded ArmorTrying on the Shrouded Armor off the assassin I killed, because my modded playthrough does actually make a Dark Brotherhood assassin NPC's armor lootable. Heh. It's weird to me to see this on a guy's body. My eye keeps expecting female proportions here since this armor is very tight-fitting. (Also, this is Breezehome prior to my buying the furnishings for it, hence all the cobwebs and empty areas in the background.)Elessir in Fur ArmorThis is a mix of fur armor, a white fur hood added in by Immersive Armors, and the Leather Scout Gauntlets. If I were running Survival Mode, or a modded equivalent, I would consider keeping this armor around. But this is a non-Survival-Mode run, and I don't think fur armor is really Elessir's speed. I do like the hood, though. More of Skyrim's bandits should be wearing those.Elessir in Common Clothes and CapWow no, really not a fan of that cap, which is apparently the male version of the white bonnet-like hat I see for female characters. I don't mind the clothes, which are the male version of the Belted Tunic which I see with the pointy shoulders on women.Elessir in Common Clothes and Cap 2These clothes are the male equivalent of the brown dress that doesn't actually show amulets on female characters even though the neck is visible. Here, though, enough of Elessir's neck and chest are covered that any amulet he wears would be hidden anyway. So not so visually weird.Elessir in Common Clothes and Cap 3This is the dude equivalent of the green and white dress for women, and ah okay this is the outfit you see on Belethor. I don't hate this, though just knowing it's what Belethor wears makes me kinda disinclined to wear it. 😉Elessir in Common Clothes and Cap 4Brown version of the previous outfit, the male version of what comes out as a reddish-brown and white dress on a woman. I like this slightly better than the green version, I think. And I'm pretty sure I commonly see this one on couriers.Elessir in Common Clothes and Green HatSame outfit as previous, but this time with a green hat instead of the brown cap. Yeah not a fan of that green hat either.Elessir in Common Clothes and Mage HoodSame outfit as previous, but here with a Mage Hood. This isn't bad, except for the visible clipping problems with the bottom of the hood overlapping through the clothes. :/Grateful AmrenRunning the Immersive Citizens mod means I can see NPCs entering shops. And resolve quests with them while they're in there!Olfrid's Refreshing SwimI saw Olfrid Battle-Born taking a swim in the water underneath the bridge that leads into Dragonsreach. And have a bit of a hard time believing that somebody that wears those clothes would just arbitrarily go swimming in them. 😉 That thick fur ruff would soak up water like a mofo.Elessir in Common Clothes, OutsideOoh, now I like this one. This is I think the male equivalent of what shows up as a green, tight-fitting dress with a bodice on women. It looks good on Elessir and shows that he's wearing an amulet. Lydia may also approve!Elessir in Common Clothes, Outside 2Blue version of the previous outfit, the male version of the tight-fitting blue dress with bodice for women. I like this one better than the previous, even! More blue is good for Elessir's overall coloring. (Though you can also tell here that the top of his face is not the same color as the rest of him.)Elessir in Common Clothes, Outside, 3Another look at the brown outfit I often see on couriers. Yeah, I like this. And it confirms that I can see Elessir's amulet above the vest laces, too.Moon and Stars Over WhiterunAnother sky shot just because I thought that moon looked really neat.LOL, GravityClearly all Skyrim horses are bred to scoff at your quaint notions of 'gravity'. Or else Hildr found an invisible rock to stand on. Either seems plausible in Skyrim!Talos at the Seven Thousand StepsI don't think I'd ever properly noticed before that there's a statue of Talos at one of the emblems on the way up to High Hrothgar. Neat. This one in particular probably pisses off the Thalmor more so than many of the shrines to Talos, just because it's on the way up the Throat of the World. And I feel like taking any action against that one in particular would piss off all of Skyrim. Because you do not fuck with the Greybeards.Wheel of Pain AmuletI started finding these in Elessir's playthrough. Pretty sure they're brought in by Immersive Armors, and I'm not entirely sure I approve, given that I know this is a Conan the Barbarian reference. And it's a bit too much crossing the streams for my tastes.Elessir in Bosmer ArmorI do like this. And even though I'm favoring the Crimson Archer armor right now, I'm keeping this around as well in case I decide to switch back to it.Uthgerd the UnbrokenImmersive Citizens gives a lot more range to the daily activities of Uthgerd the Unbroken--which means I can see her participating in dragon fights if they're close enough to Whiterun! She helped me take down this one, as her bloody sword attests. It does help make her more badass, which befits that steel armor she walks around in!Warriors in the AftermathLydia, of course, also helped me take down the dragon. I figure she and Uthgerd were sharing a sisterly warrior moment here once the dragon bones stopped being on fire.Apt Observation, But...I'm a trifle curious as to how, exactly, Lucien knows Ustengrav is full of draugr? Though in his defense, that's a safe assumption for any tomb in Skyrim, really.Ar Ar Ar I See What You Did ThereSon, don't make me sic the Morag Tong on you for commentary pun-ishable by death.Don't Push Your LuckI see Elessir just raising a brow here and drawling, 'Thaney-pie'?Lucien in Dwarven Mage RobesThis outfit isn't armor, so I'm reluctant to have Lucien going around unarmored until I can get him some more Mage Armor spells. But that said, it seems really appropriate for him given his interests in both the Dwemer and magic. These are robes brought in by Immersive Armors!Jarl SiddgeirI actually found Jarl Siddgeir off his throne for once, and in the side rooms in his longhouse that are presumably his living quarters. Also noting here that he's wearing the same Noble Clothes I usually see on Balgruuf.Hard at WorkNot having the HUD visible means I can get this nice shot of Adrianne at work at her forge at Warmaiden's.Elessir in Redguard Knight ArmorThis is another addition of Immersive Armors, Redguard Knight armor that I got off the master vampire killed by Barbas in Haemar's Shame. I like this quite a bit, and would consider wearing it if I were more of a Heavy Armor player. Or playing a Redguard in this run.Bear Toe BeansThis is a different graphic than what I'm used to, looting bear claws off a bear! Not sure which mod brought this in.Varla Stones Are Indeed Awfully ShinyLucien, after asking me if he could have a look at one of the Varla stones I'm carrying. I like his remark here. <3 Also, this shows him wearing the Leather Scout Armor I gave him. Which I do think rather suits him.Dual-Wielding LucienFor a guy who claims he sucks at combat, Lucien took awfully well to wielding two swords at once in a fight! I think he's had some lessons with his Imperial legionnaire mother that he's not quite prepared to fess up to.Elessir in Crimson Archer ArmorNow we're talkin'. This is Elessir in the Crimson Archer armor from Immersive Armors, and it's also a bit of stream-crossing, because this armor is apparently ported over from The Witcher. But I will allow this on the grounds that it looks really badass. The Red Cowl is NOT part of the armor set, and it's got a bit of a clipping issue on Elessir's left shoulder; I may swap that cowl out for something better later. For now, though, this is Elessir's working armor. Prev 1of39 Next
