Here are my screenshots for the playthrough for Finds-The-Way of the Argonians! I cannot paginate these, so apologies for the length of this album list.
Skyrim Main Menu in German
Took a screencap of the main menu just to show what it looks like in German! But this also let me see what Argonian is translated into in German.
Zauberbuch: Funken
An example of my character inventory, showing the spellbook for Sparks, which I snurched on the way out of Helgen. As you do! But you can also see all the other terms over on the left, for additional vocabulary geekery.
Wolfspelz
Another inventory shot, this time featuring a Wolf Pelt.
Wache von Weißlauf
Talking my way past the Whiterun guard, who wants to know WTF I'm doing showing up at the closed city gates. It's probably lucky for Finds that he didn't get snippy at me for being an Argonian. Also kept the shot for the word Drachenangriff showing up in my dialogue options, which translates to dragon attack.
Balgruuf 1
This line of Balgruuf's contains arguably one of the most critical vocabulary words in a German Skyrim run: Drachen. Which is, of course, the translation of dragon.
Balgruuf 2
My dialogue options when answering Balgruuf's question about what I know about what happened in Helgen. I went with option 2, as I usually do, which is the less snarky one in which you are NOT openly bitching to a stranger Jarl about the Imperials almost cutting off your head.
Lederkundschafterhandschuhe
Gigantic German compound nouns, you say? I GOT YOU COVERED. Clocking in at 27 characters, here, here's the translation of Leather Scout Gauntlets! Note the other translations of leather armor items in this menu as well. Can you pick out what the others are?
Obligatory Selfie Screenshot
Here's the obligatory initial selfie screenshot! I'm rather digging Finds' curly horns and her crown of green feathers, though I fully expect that this means most if not all helmets in the game would sit on her head funny. I foresee hoods in her near future.
Still Open for Business, Honest
Here's Lucan assuring me that the Riverwood Trader is TOTES open for business. And Flusswaldhandelskontor is the runner up for longest German word observed in this session. 😀
