In Which Finds-The-Way is Named Listener of the Brotherhood
Time to swing back around to Finds-The-Way, my Argonian assassin I’m running for my German Skyrim playthrough. Main action in this sessin: being named the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, finishing up Katria’s quest for the Aetherium Forge, and getting the Elder Scroll (and crimson nirnroot) down in Blackreach.

In Which Elessir Recovers a Third Elder Scroll and Confronts Alduin
Slowly closing in on the end of my 2023 catchup posts! This one is back to Elessir’s Skyrim playthrough.
Main action here is finishing up in Blackreach, and discovering to my chagrin that I’d left Septimus’ Lexicon behind when I left with the Elder Scroll; retrieving the Lexicon, taking it back to Septimus, and meeting Hermaeus Mora; confronting Alduin for the first time on the Throat of the World; and running Ancestor Glade to discover the location of Auriel’s Bow.

In Which Kendeshel Joins the Imperial Legion and the Companions
I thought I was done with commentary on Project AHO, but not quite. Got a couple more minor spoilery comments about the AHO in this post, pertaining to rewards given in that mod and how they apply to my playthrough moving forward, as well as Kendeshel’s mindset after her experiences with that plot.
Also, spoilery commentary in this post about Legacy of the Dragonborn as well, as this features the Shadows of One’s Past quest for that mod.
Aside from that, action in this post that isn’t mod-specific includes getting the Daedric plate armor, cleaning out the first Saints bandits camp for the Saints and Seducers quest, joining the Imperial Legion, joining the Companions, running Dead Men’s Respite, doing the civil war champions fight, and running Korvanjund to get the Jagged Crown.

In Which Harrowhark Learns Dragonrend and Saves Dawnstar
Kind of a mishmash of action here, with Harrow finally getting her first encounter with Alduin on the Throat of the World–but also settling the nightmare problem in Dawnstar, and getting the thaneship there. Plus fishing. So much fishing!

In Which Harrowhark Meets Paarthurnax and Hunts for an Elder Scroll
And now, to swing back around to my ex-vampire in Skyrim! This is a multi-session post, just because I’m way behind on getting posts up in general. But also because most of this is familiar territory, and I didn’t have new to say to do all of these in fewer sessions per post.

In Which Kendis Finds an Elder Scroll, Crimson Nirnroot, and Ancestor Glade
Getting caught up on Kendis! This is a three-session post, predominantly featuring getting the Elder Scroll out of Blackreach (and getting a bunch of crimson nirnroot while down there), and then heading off to Ancestor Glade and Darkfall Cave for Dawnguard action.

In Which Shenner Quests Through Blackreach
As expected, this session was pretty much the one for running Blackreach. Found all the crimson nirnroot, and got the Elder Scroll! And picked fights with a lot of Falmer.
-
In Which Faanshi Finds Crimson Nirnroot and an Elder Scroll
This session was all about running Blackreach, and trying to do it all in one go so I wouldn’t have to come back down later. Which meant, getting all the crimson nirnroot before finally going to the Tower of Mzark for the Elder Scroll. And as a bonus treat, this time around I actually summoned and fought the dragon Vulthuryol!

In Which Ysani Seeks Crimson Nirnroot and Slays Dragons
This session was mostly all about returning to Blackreach and getting the rest of the crimson nirnroot (and, in the process, discovering that at least one bug in Skyrim does have a viable workaround!).
Wound up also having two different dragon encounters that resulted in NPC death and from which I rolled back. And I started the quest to get Volendrung as well.

In Which Ysani Escapes Alftand With the Dragon Scroll
This session saw the conclusion of the run through Alftand, and the acquisition of the “Dragon” Elder Scroll, needed for both the main plot and for Dawnguard! And, epilogue with returning to Fort Dawnguard and following up on further plot pointers there.
