In which the Khajiit Ashoshah is ambushed and sacrificed; wakes up in Coldharbour, and must join forces with Lyris Titanborn and the Prophet to escape; finds herself on Khenarthi's Roost and aids Razum-dar in solving several crises there; flees, traumatized and in the grip of skooma withdrawal, to Anvil on the Gold Coast; and comes to the attention of the Dark Brotherhood, who set her to the task of slaying a local noble.
