In Which Harrowhark Becomes Thane of Riften
Main action in this double session post: gaining the thaneship in Riften, and by extension, Honeyside and Iona as latest housecarl; finishing off the thieving jobs in Markarth and getting Endon as the local fence for the Guild; commenced the Crypt of the Heart plot for the Spell Knight armor; and ran the Folgunthur barrow to move the Forbidden Legend quest along.

In Which Kendis Becomes Thane of Riften and Quests into Mzulft
Double-session Kendis post to get caught up! Lots of action major and minor here, including stopping by Largashbur to help them with their giant problem; picking up a lot of side quests in Riften; helping Riften with its skooma problem, and getting proclaimed thane; buying Honeyside and picking up Iona as housecarl; hitting Stony Creek Cave and acquiring Finn’s Lute and the Ruin’s Edge bow; and last but not least, hitting Mzulft for the advancement of the College of Winterhold plot.

In Which Shenner Impresses the Jarl of Riften
Fairly eventful session, even though a good bit of it went to discovering that I am not yet ready to take on the bandit boss at Traitor’s Post. What I did accomplish: getting a few more quest pointers! Building out the rest of Goldenhills Plantation! Taking care of the skooma dealer problem in Riften—and getting Laila Law-Giver to offer me a thaneship!
(I’m posting this on 6/9 but this is for play done on 6/7.)

In Which Faanshi Becomes Thane of the Rift
Pretty much what this one says on the tin: hurray! I got the thaneship of the Rift! And Honeyside, and Iona as my latest housecarl.

In Which Ysani Seeks Words of Power and Entry Among Thieves
And now we shift tone in this run from College of Winterhold to Thieves Guild. Which is a very distinct tonal and moral shift, and I have some thoughts about how Ysani is approaching this! How do you go from taking over the College of Winterhold to running off to join the Thieves Guild in Riften? And why?
Answer: because Ysani’s hellbent on fucking up the Thalmor as much as possible, and the Thieves Guild are going to help her do it. Plus, she rather likes the mages at this point and wants to keep them out of this if she can.

In Which Delga Becomes Thane of Falkreath and Gains Dawnbreaker and Breezehome
This was a very busy session, featuring the acquisition of Dawnbreaker and the Masque of Clavicus Vile, becoming thane in Falkreath, making significant inroads on becoming thane in Riften, and last but not least, acquiring Breezehome in Whiterun.

In Which Merawen Battles the Chicken Necromancer
This was another “wander the land” session, doing what Paul tells me he calls “general adventuring”. The idea here being, wander around and see if something interesting happens!
And in this session’s wandering, I encountered what’s possibly the most delightful NPC encounter in all of Skyrim I’ve had to date!

In Which the Dragonborn Becomes Thane of Riften
For this session, I’d thought about hitting the mage college for the next round of Arniel’s plot, taking care of the situation with the anomaly in Markarth, and then maybe going and wiping out the Dark Brotherhood. I took care of two of these things, but not the third. Instead, I wound up becoming Thane of Riften!
