In Which Finds-The-Way Escapes from Cidhna Mine
Still working on getting caught up on Skyrim posts. This is another one from mid-December, Finds-The-Way’s playthrough. Primary action here is finishing the quest to get the White Phial, running the Forsworn Conspiracy, and running Arkngthamz and meeting the ghost of Katria. With the obligatory German language geekery!

In Which Harrowhark Has a Bit of a Reset
This is a multi-session post, but it actually replicated some of the action I did in running Moonpath to Elsweyr. Because y’all may recall that at the end of my Moonpath to Elsweyr post, I reported seeing some crashing behavior on the way out of the area set up by the mod.
This behavior has, unfortunately, persisted. And investigating what was going on caused me to have to roll back a bit, as I will detail under the fold.

In Which Harrowhark Takes a Moonpath to Elsweyr
Double session post, featuring as its primary action running the Moonpath to Elsweyr mod! Picoreview: found it flawed but enjoyable! And after visiting Elsweyr, I followed up on the Dark Brotherhood contract from Muiri in Markarth, and ventured into Arkngthamz.
Also, unfortunately, I’ve decided to have to punt Inigo out of my playthrough. Commentary on this below.

In Which Kendis Slays a Cannibal, Acquires Mehrunes’ Razor, and Quests for Mara
Three session post, which has Kendis questing all over the damn place and working on a bunch of side quests. But I’ve also got a bunch of commentary here about glitches, because the last couple of Kendis sessions have been unusually buggy in my Skyrim experience–and given how buggy Skyrim has been for me during all my playthroughs, that’s saying something.

In Which Kendis Visits Alduin’s Wall and Slays a Dragon Priest
Time to swing back around and get caught up on Kendis! Main action in this post: running the Forsworn Conspiracy plot; reaching Alduin’s Wall at Sky Haven Temple, and getting Dragonbane; running the Crypt of the Heart plot and getting the Spell Knight armor; getting Azura’s Star; and defeating the dragon priest Hevnoraak at Valthume.

In Which Shenner Quests through Mzinchaleft and Arkngthamz
Turned out I had a few more side quests to do still, before sending Shenner off to Solstheim! This is a double session post, covering sessions in which I hit Mzinchaleft to recover Mjoll the Lioness’ sword Grimsever, and then hit Arkngthamz to get Katria’s plot underway. And there was fishing! SO MUCH FISHING.
-
In Which Faanshi Discovers Guildmaster Treachery and Becomes Thane of the Reach
Ran Snow Veil Sanctum in this session, which got me to the big dramatic cutscene between Karliah and Mercer “Murderous Lying Bastard” Frey! And in the meantime, I also started Katria’s plot, bought Vlindrel Hall, and became Thane of the Reach.
-
In Which Ysani Robs a Museum, Translates a Journal, and Investigates Arkngthamz
More Thieves Guild action in this one—but not quite as much as I wanted, because I realized that I’m now poised to get Chillrend. And I want the level 46+ version of it, which means I have a few more levels to get through before I’m ready! So I also scampered off to fire up the Lost to the Ages quest!
-
In Which Delga Finds the Treasure in Arkngthamz
This session saw the conclusion of the trek through Arkngthamz, and the purchase of land for Heljarchen Hall! At which Delga established fellow Companion Ria as her steward.
-
In Which Delga Becomes Thane of the Pale and Investigates Arkngthamz
Back to more typical Skyrim quest territory in this session! Main highlights: doing the Waking Nightmare quest in Dawnstar, becoming thane for the new Jarl Brina Merilis, and commencing the Lost to the Ages quest.
