In Which Kendeshel Takes Windhelm for the Empire
This is a single session post, because I want to give myself space for commentary for Kendeshel finishing up the civil war in Skyrim–and also, for having significant plot kick in for Legacy of the Dragonborn. Side helping here of running more of the mage college plot as well.
Spoilers here for the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod: services available from particular NPCs, the beginning of the “Shattered Legacy” plot, and some hints about backstory for Auryen.

In Which Kendeshel Takes Fort Greenwall and Joins the College of Winterhold
This is a single-session post, but I had a lot of commentary on it, so keeping the length down by focusing on a single session! Main action here: setup of quests in and around Riften; getting Wujeeta to tell me about her skooma dealer; helping Largashbur with their initial giant attack; reporting to the Imperial camp in the Rift and getting orders to lean on Anuriel; blackmailing Anuriel for info; helping Hadvar’s squad commander the wagon for supplies; taking over Fort Greenwall; killing another dragon in Solitude; joining the College of Winterhold; discovering the Eye of Magnus (not to mention Jyrik Gauldurson) in Saarthal; taking out the Seducers bandits camped near Fort Kastav; and reporting to Hadvar to help him break into the fort.

In Which Marwyth Saves Mournhold and Helps a Dremora
Swinging back now to clear more of my ESO play action out of the backlog. Here’s about a week’s worth of action with Marwyth the thief, featuring helping her fellow thief Quen learn more about her background, fighting the Maulborn in Obsidian Gorge and Mournhold, coming to the attention of Almalexia (yikes), and helping the dremora Lyranth fight against the cultists of the Waking Flame.

In Which Kendis Becomes Thane of the Pale and Takes Territory for the Empire
This is another three-session post, as I’m trying to clear out my queue to get caught up! Main action here: lot of war stuff, since I took both the Pale and the Rift for the Empire; got Bloodchill Cavern; got the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal; got the cracked White Phial for Nurelion; got the ironwood fruit to make the healing soup for Rulnik; got the Headman’s Cleaver; and last but not least, became thane of the Pale after putting Brina Merilis in power as Jarl.

In Which the Dragonborn Trio Joins the Thieves Guild
Dara, Mel, and I convened for another session of Skyrim Together Reborn this past weekend. We had all the same STR shenanigans we’ve observed before in previous sessions, but this time it was with the added fun of joining the Thieves Guild!
-
In Which Gyllerah Becomes an Antiquarian and Stops a Necromancer
Double session post! Main item of interest here is that I joined the Antiquarian Circle, which a) gave me my first chance to lay eyes on what Skyrim looks like in ESO, and b) let me start using the game’s Antiquities system. And, I did a whole bunch of exploring for various materials surveys, which gave me a chance to put down a dangerous necromancer in the Rift.

In Which Faanshi Steals a Horse and More Stones of Barenziah
The Steam Deck may be the cool new kid in my slowly growing assortment of “things I can game on”, but I’ve still got a Nintendo Switch! And last night I played more of Faanshi on it, just to move her along a little more. Main action: running the Promises to Keep plot, and helping Louis Letrush steal the horse Frost from Black-Briar Lodge; and stealing a couple more Stones of Barenziah.

In Which Delga Regains the Rift for the Empire
I’m posting this on Sunday, but this is actually for the play session I did on Friday night. I didn’t play last night, because I was trying to charge through fixing all of my screenshot galleries so I could resume adding galleries to new posts.
And this one is another step forward in the Imperial side of the civil war plotline, wherein I help the Empire regain the Rift.

In Which Merawen Explores North of Windstad and South of Riften
Another low-key session as I continue to look for remaining things I can do before I finish out the main plot. Main action of this run was going to High Gate Ruins for the quest called A Scroll for Anska, but I also got in some exploration along the northeastern coast of the Sea of Ghosts, and found some spots I hadn’t found before!
And I reset my Smithing, and did a boatload of creation of things and purchasing of training to work on building it back up.

In Which the Dragonborn Learns More About How to Defeat Alduin
Since I reached level 46, it was time to proceed with the next part of moving the main questline along–and doing Alduin’s Wall! But before I did that, I took care of a bit more side quests as well, some for Riften, some for the mage college.
