• Harrowhark Playthrough,  Skyrim

In Which Harrowhark Becomes a Thief–and a Vampire

This was a huge eventful session, in which I did a great deal of things initially in an attempt to get Vilja killed off. But she kept doggedly holding her own in battle! So i finally punted to a backup plan, which resulted in the dismissal of all of Harrow’s followers–but also in her becoming infected with Sanguinare Vampiris, and fleeing her party’s company rather than risk endangering them. So now she’s run off to join the Thieves Guild in Riften…

But her disease has run its course. And now she’s a vampire.

This post is enormous, since a lot of things happened in it. You may want to grab a snack or a drink before you settle in with this one!

  • Shenner Playthrough

In Which Shenner is Proclaimed the Fisher Queen

I actually did main plot stuff in this session–i.e., visiting Paarthurnax and getting the objective to find the Elder Scroll, and learning the Clear Skies Shout–but I’m way more amused by how I got word that a song was written about how awesome I have become at fishing. LOL. Spent time on other side quests as well, finishing off the Pets plotline, recovering a staff for Enthir to get Onmund’s amulet back, and finding a couple aspects of the game that were buggy even though I’m running the USSEP in this playthrough.

  • Faanshi Playthrough

In Which Faanshi Becomes a Nightingale

This session was all about revving up into my favorite parts of the Thieves Guild plotline: raiding Mercer Frey’s house, and then becoming a Nightingale! So now Faanshi has the Nightingale armor and the Nightingale Blade, as well as Chillrend. Also, I ran Folgunthur, and picked up the third of the aetherium shards at Mzulft.

  • Faanshi Playthrough

In Which Faanshi Retreats and Bails to Riften

Faanshi’s latest session, played yesterday (Friday 5/20), had two major items of note: I had to retreat from Volunruud because I could not take down the boss Kvenel for the life of me. And after doing that, I sent Lydia home to Breezehome so I could head off to Riften and follow up on Brynjolf’s little marketplace shenanigans proposal!

By which I mean, “Khajiit will join your Thieves Guild, and thinks you will find that she is very, very good at it.”
