In Which Elessir Opens an Oblivion Gate and Joins the Dawnguard
Short-ish post for Elessir’s Skyrim run, just because nothing terribly new here. But I do as always have some commentary!
Main action here: finishing running The Cause; getting the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal and the sword Bloodthirst; a bit of Thieves Guild shenanigans; and finally joining the Dawnguard.

In Which Kendis Becomes Thane of Haafingar and Fights the Mythic Dawn
Time for catchup with Kendis in Skyrim! Main action in this post: clearing Sunderstone Gorge; defeating the ghost of Potema in the Solitude catacombs; getting the Wabbajack; killing Crowstooth at Arcwind Point; questing through Varlais Cavern and then Red Scar Cavern, and triggering the Oblivion gate; questing in the Deadlands; saving Malborn from assassination; initial action to get the thaneship in the Reach; and lots and lots and lots of fishing.

In Which Marwyth Saves Mournhold and Helps a Dremora
Swinging back now to clear more of my ESO play action out of the backlog. Here’s about a week’s worth of action with Marwyth the thief, featuring helping her fellow thief Quen learn more about her background, fighting the Maulborn in Obsidian Gorge and Mournhold, coming to the attention of Almalexia (yikes), and helping the dremora Lyranth fight against the cultists of the Waking Flame.

In Which Ganniwer Joins the Arena
Back over in my Oblivion playthrough, I made the foolish choice of trying to move the main plot along at level 3! Those of you who know what happens when you try to go to Kvatch to find Martin Septim will know to what degree I had my ass handed to me by this decision. Snerk.

In Which Harrowhark Opens an Oblivion Gate
A lot of action in this one, with thievery action in both Solitude and Whiterun, the purchasing of Tundra Homestead, and last but not least, defeating the Mythic Dawn at Red Scar Cavern and venturing into the Deadlands through the Oblivion gate there.

In Which Shenner Opens an Oblivion Gate
Big crunchy session, in which I ran the entirety of the plotline called The Cause–featuring an attempt to resurrect the Mythic Dawn cult of Mehrunes Dagon, and reopen an Oblivion Gate! I’d been looking forward to running this and am pleased to report that it did not disappoint. 😀
