In Which Kendis Raids the Thalmor Embassy and Marries a Mage
Three session post, so there’s a lot of action in this one! Main highlights: raiding the Thalmor Embassy, retrieving Esbern from the Ratway, marrying Rulnik (and finally settling him and the girls in Whiterun, to get Lucia and Sofie the hell out of Windhelm), and other assorted side action!

In Which Harrowhark Takes on the Thalmor and Becomes a Nightingale
Greatest hits action in this trio of sessions for Harrowhark–because it was Happy Fun Let’s Go Fuck Things Up at the Thalmor Embassy Time! Followed by the part of the Thieves Guild plotline where you get to join the Nightingales, which is where the really good parts kick in. <3

In Which Harrowhark Gains a Thaneship and a Khajiit Follower
Double session post! Main action here: achieving the thaneship in Falkreath; reaching Haemar’s Shame and getting the directive to fetch the Rueful Axe; taking out the bandits at Treva’s Watch; buying the land for Lakeview Manor, and beginning its building; fetching the Rueful Axe from Rimerock Burrow, and then delivering it to Clavicus Vile to get him to take Barbas back; acquiring the sword Dawnfang and Duskfang from the depths of the Ratway; getting Grelod the Kind arrested for abusing her charges; and last but not least, acquiring a Khajiit companion with extremely odd ideas about why he needed to voluntarily commit himself to the Riften jail.

In Which Harrowhark Becomes a Thief–and a Vampire
This was a huge eventful session, in which I did a great deal of things initially in an attempt to get Vilja killed off. But she kept doggedly holding her own in battle! So i finally punted to a backup plan, which resulted in the dismissal of all of Harrow’s followers–but also in her becoming infected with Sanguinare Vampiris, and fleeing her party’s company rather than risk endangering them. So now she’s run off to join the Thieves Guild in Riften…
But her disease has run its course. And now she’s a vampire.
This post is enormous, since a lot of things happened in it. You may want to grab a snack or a drink before you settle in with this one!

In Which the Dragonborn Trio Joins the Thieves Guild
Dara, Mel, and I convened for another session of Skyrim Together Reborn this past weekend. We had all the same STR shenanigans we’ve observed before in previous sessions, but this time it was with the added fun of joining the Thieves Guild!

In Which Shenner Quests Through the Ratway
Main theme of the action in this session: adventures in the Ratway in Riften! Not only did I rescue Esbern from the Ratway, I also acquired Shadowfoot Sanctum. And Dawnfang and Duskfang. And a pet skeever. And I recovered a lost bow!
Also, made some progress on the fishing plots, and did more building at Windstad.

In Which Faanshi Helps the Blades and Meets a Dragon
Continuing action with the main game plot here, basically running straight from going into the Ratway to find Esbern, up through meeting Paarthurnax, and then going back to the mage college to ask Urag how to find the Elder Scroll.
With a side helping of, as always, dragon fighting!
This post was for play done on Tuesday 6/28.

In Which Faanshi Retreats and Bails to Riften
Faanshi’s latest session, played yesterday (Friday 5/20), had two major items of note: I had to retreat from Volunruud because I could not take down the boss Kvenel for the life of me. And after doing that, I sent Lydia home to Breezehome so I could head off to Riften and follow up on Brynjolf’s little marketplace shenanigans proposal!
By which I mean, “Khajiit will join your Thieves Guild, and thinks you will find that she is very, very good at it.”

In Which Ysani Rescues Esbern from the Ratway
I’m posting this on Tuesday 3/15, but this post is actually for the play on Sunday 3/13.
This session was all about moving the main plot along a bit more, as I followed directly on the raid on the Thalmor Embassy by finding Esbern, getting him reunited with Delphine, and proceeding to the quest to find Alduin’s Wall.
And oh yeah, killing Vuljotnaak on the way, and another Thalmor execution squad. Ysani has definitely made the Thalmor very, very cranky!

In Which Ysani Seeks Words of Power and Entry Among Thieves
And now we shift tone in this run from College of Winterhold to Thieves Guild. Which is a very distinct tonal and moral shift, and I have some thoughts about how Ysani is approaching this! How do you go from taking over the College of Winterhold to running off to join the Thieves Guild in Riften? And why?
Answer: because Ysani’s hellbent on fucking up the Thalmor as much as possible, and the Thieves Guild are going to help her do it. Plus, she rather likes the mages at this point and wants to keep them out of this if she can.
