In Which Ysani Begins Daedric Quests
High action in this session as I started two different Daedric quests—the ones for Clavicus Vile and Meridia!
-
In Which Ysani Fights Bandits, Spriggans, and a Dragon
This session was all about fairly minor side quests, the sorts of early-stage stuff in the game that lets you get your feet under you as you level up. Mostly, this meant setting the stage to become thane in Falkreath.
Got in a lot of bandit fighting, though, as well as multiple spriggans and a dragon. And practice with the whole strategy of throwing my best spells as soon as I see a combat situation coming, and getting the fuck out of the way so Lydia and my atronach can charge at whatever’s about to attack.

In Which Delga Becomes Thane of Riften
High amount of things accomplished this session! Got Nettlebane and brought Danica Pure-Spring a sapling of Eldergleam. Cleared Ustengrav, and discovered some mysterious party had made off with the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller (ohnoez WHO COULD IT BE). Got Noster One-Eye in Solitude his missing helmet. Got enough ingredients to go finish up Balimund’s quest and a bonus, enough ice wraith teeth for Marise. So I was able to eventually buy Honeyside, and become Thane of Riften!
I started the Bards College quest, just to get the skill bumps off of that. And parked myself at Forsaken Cave to do the White Phial retrieval.

In Which Delga Visits Falkreath and Clears Embershard Mine of Bandits
In this session the biggest thing I learned was that Delga is not yet ready to deal with hagravens! So instead, I decided to go get set up for becoming thane in Falkreath. Which meant clearing out Embershard Mine!

In Which Merawen Gets Final Restoration Training
Yet another “general adventuring and crafting” type session, but featuring doing the Restoration Ritual Quest, and doing quite a bit of treasure hunting.

In Which the Dragonborn Hunts for Fun and Profit
No particular goal to yesterday’s Skyrim playing, really; I wanted another break from the bigger quests, and to see what I could do about building a gold reserve to go buy Proudspire Manor. Plus, I wanted to use the elven bow for a while to hunt things and refill some of my soul gems. But even though I had no particular quest-related goal, I did have a few interesting encounters!
So what I wound up doing included:
- Another hunting run in the plains around Whiterun
- Encountered M’aiq the Liar
- Encountered a jester-type character called Cicero
- Additional smithing and potion crafting to sell stuff
- Following up on a treasure map I’d come across to find a treasure near Riverwood
- Killing another dragon (like you do, if you’re the Dragonborn)
