Making my first patch in xEdit
I interrupt my usual playthrough posts for some in-depth modding geekery, as I learned how to make my very first patch in xEdit! This let me correct a cell height problem that was causing a stupidly high number of dragon attacks in Solitude.

Experiment: Trying to run Gate to Sovngarde
I was very intrigued by a huge Nexus Mods collection called Gate to Sovngarde, which has over 1,000 mods in it and does a major overhaul of how Skyrim works. However, nothing I have to game on is currently capable of fully running it! This is a writeup of my experiments with this, and includes a few screenshots taken while trying it on the Steam Deck.

In Which Elessir Seeks Azura’s Star and Joins the Thieves Guild
In which Elessir is tasked by Azura to restore her broken Star, and recovers it from Ilinalta's Deep; slays the bandit Tyra Blood-Fire, after she challenges him; clears a mine of a spider infestation; joins the Thieves Guild in Riften, but with less extortion than they ask him for; recovers the Headman's Cleaver from Lost Knife Hideout, and a Khajiit's amulet from Treva's Watch; and clears out a skooma den on behalf of Riften.

Some Final Thoughts on Running Project AHO
A followup post about running Project AHO, with some final thoughts about what frustrated me about this mod's overall plot. And what I would do to fix it. Obviously, this contains major spoilers for Project AHO, so read with caution if you think you might want to try this mod in a future Skyrim playthrough.
