In Which Finds-The-Way Becomes a Nightingale
Everything in this post is stuff I’ve played before in previous Skyrim runs. But even though the action was familiar, I still had a couple of surprises I’d never seen before! Read on for the details. As well as German language geekery, since this is part of my ongoing playthrough in German, starring Finds-The-Way!
Main action run: acquiring the remaining pieces of the Gauldur amulet, and reforging it; taking out the Golden Saints bandits near Karthwasten; taking out the mad conjurer Thoron in the Solitude sewers; robbing Mercer Frey’s house in Riften; and last but definitely not least, becoming a Nightingale!

In Which Finds-The-Way Becomes Arch-Mage, and Thane of Hjaalmarch and the Pale
Swinging back around to my ongoing Argonian playthrough in Skyrim! Main action here: becoming Arch-Mage at the College of Winterhold, running Runoff Caverns and getting its assorted quest rewards (including the Dwarven Horse), running Laid to Rest and becoming thane in Hjaalsmarch, and killing some giants and helping some Dawnstar residents to become thane in the Pale as well.

In Which Elessir Battles Mercer Frey, Thalmor, and Forsworn
Just about everything in this post for Elessir’s run is familiar territory, but I still found things to comment on! Main action: moving the Thieves Guild further along; running the Thalmor Embassy; heading to Karthspire to hit Alduin’s Wall; and meeting Paarthurnax at the Throat of the World.

In Which Elessir Becomes Thane of Winterhold and a Nightingale
Latest post from my Elessir playthrough! Main action in this one: finishing up the Saints and Seducers plot, by taking out the second Seducers camp and then the mad conjurer Thoron; returning the Sword of Jyggalag to Staada; locating the remains of missing College of Winterhold apprentices; recovering the Helm of Winterhold and becoming thane of Winterhold; reforging the Arms of Chaos; and pushing the Thieves Guild plotline along to the point of becoming a Nightingale.

In Which Finds-the-Way Becomes Thane of Haafingar and Saves the Gildergreen
There’s a bit of advancing the Thieves Guild plotline in this pair of sessions for Finds-The-Way, but mostly, this is all about a bunch of side questing since I’m trying to kill some time and get her more leveled up before I push the Guild plot further along. Main highlights here: running Mara’s Eye Pond, Cronvangr Cave, the Blessings of Nature quest, dropping off the horn at a shrine of Talos for Elisif, and two different quests for Forsaken Cave. And I got Proudspire Manor, and became thane in Haafingar!

In Which Kendis Becomes Thane of the Reach and Does a Lot of Fishing
Still working on clearing side quests in Kendis’ journal in Skyrim, before I send her off to Solstheim to go toe to toe with Miraak! Mostly, this meant becoming thane in the Reach, getting Vlindrel Hall, and doing a bunch more fishing to get the overall Fishing quest lines finished up, including defeating a giant spirit crab in Dawnstar.

In Which Kendis Becomes Thane of Haafingar and Fights the Mythic Dawn
Time for catchup with Kendis in Skyrim! Main action in this post: clearing Sunderstone Gorge; defeating the ghost of Potema in the Solitude catacombs; getting the Wabbajack; killing Crowstooth at Arcwind Point; questing through Varlais Cavern and then Red Scar Cavern, and triggering the Oblivion gate; questing in the Deadlands; saving Malborn from assassination; initial action to get the thaneship in the Reach; and lots and lots and lots of fishing.

In Which Harrowhark Learns Dragonrend and Saves Dawnstar
Kind of a mishmash of action here, with Harrow finally getting her first encounter with Alduin on the Throat of the World–but also settling the nightmare problem in Dawnstar, and getting the thaneship there. Plus fishing. So much fishing!

In Which Harrowhark Opens an Oblivion Gate
A lot of action in this one, with thievery action in both Solitude and Whiterun, the purchasing of Tundra Homestead, and last but not least, defeating the Mythic Dawn at Red Scar Cavern and venturing into the Deadlands through the Oblivion gate there.

In Which Harrowhark is Inducted as a Bard, Then Goes After Mercer Frey
Four session post, just because I’ve been more in a mood for Harrow than Kendis this week. And because I fell behind doing Harrow’s posts! Main action in this post is all about Harrow finishing off the Bards College plotline, and then returning to Thieves Guild action! Time to go after Mercer “Murderous Lying Bastard” Frey. 😀
