In Which Shenner Raids Faldar’s Tooth and the Thalmor Embassy
Yet another Shenner session, just because I’m trying to get Shenner’s number of sessions caught up with Faanshi’s before I start switching back and forth again. One more Shenner to go, then I’ll switch back to my Khajiit Guildmaster!
And in this one, I did a bunch of fishing, cleared Faldar’s Tooth, and then went and made life difficult for the Thalmor at their embassy!

In Which Faanshi Becomes Guildmaster and Raids the Thalmor Embassy
With this session of Faanshi’s, definitely a couple of the greatest hits of Skyrim: becoming Guildmaster of the Thieves Guild, and rampaging through the Thalmor Embassy! Which did turn out to be a rampage, because dremora.

In Which Shenner Quests for Instruments, a Pirate Ship, and Fish
Another combo of new stuff and old stuff in this session, wherein I got the other two missing instruments for the Bards College–but also got Dead Man’s Dread, a beached pirate ship, as arguably the most unusual home I’ve acquired in Skyrim to date! And also, I tried out the new Fishing content!

In Which Ysani Raids the Thalmor Embassy
Main action of this session: a thing Ysani’s been waiting for for months, her chance to strike back against the Thalmor! By which I mean: raiding their embassy, rather more violently and spectacularly than I planned!

In Which Delga Slays Dragon Priests and Makes No Friends Among the Thalmor
This session‘s preliminary action was visiting Ragnvald, to fight the dragon priest there and get its Shout word, and doing the same at Shearpoint because I wanted that Throw Voice Shout!
Main action saw me return to the main plot for a little while, because I decided it was high time that I go pay a call on the Thalmor Embassy! Proceeded through the recovery of Esbern from Riften, and getting Delphine and Esbern setting out for Sky Haven Temple.

In Which Merawen Gains Final Training in Alteration and Conjuration
In this session, all this work I’ve been doing on general adventuring and crafting has started to pay off. I made it to level 80, and I did two of the five ritual quests for the mage college–the ones for the Alteration and Conjuration schools.
Also, I fought and killed my first Legendary Dragon!

In Which Merawen Becomes a Nightingale and Also Infiltrates the Thalmor Embassy
Thieves Guild plot advancement galore in this session, but also revisiting the main plot! Because I need to get the main plot moved along if I want to also advance the Dawnguard one—and also, on the general grounds of wanting to rob the Thalmor blind if at all possible.

In Which the Dragonborn Makes the Thalmor Very Cranky
This post actually covers both Saturday and Sunday for Skyrim–because going through the Thalmor Embassy quest, “Diplomatic Immunity”, took a lot of work. And I backtracked a couple of times, not only during that primary quest, but also afterwards when I was trying to decide what to do next.
So, major highlights of this post include:
- Infiltrating the party at the Thalmor Embassy, in a rather more violent manner than anticipated, yet also getting out alive with NPCs and the information Delphine sent me there for
- Going to Solitude after to knock out a couple of minor quests: finding out for Angeline what happened to her daughter, and getting Noster’s helmet back for him
Let’s get to it, shall we?
