In which Elessir of the Dunmer is captured by the Empire and escapes execution at Helgen only because a dragon torches the place; flees to Riverwood with the Imperial soldier Hadvar; retrieves a Dragonstone for Whiterun's court wizard; slays the dragon Mirmulnir, and is revealed as Dragonborn; and is proclaimed thane of Whiterun, with Lydia as his housecarl.

Interrupting my playthrough posts for this important note
My response to word going around Mastodon today of Zenimax/Bethesda railroading a transgendered employee into resigning. Includes the videos I've seen, in which the employee in question brings hard evidence of her situation. Also includes a copy of the letter I just sent to Bethesda expressing my profound unhappiness, and that I will not be buying Starfield or giving ESO any further money unless they make this right.

In which Gyllerah helps the Ebonheart Pact defend itself from the Covenant in Davon's Watch; helps followers of Hermaeus Mora recover stolen artifacts; makes a deal with the Daedric Prince to help him defend Apochrypha; answers the call of Azura to help find missing oracles in her service; and helps protect an abbey of Azura followers from attack by enemy cultists and bandits.

In Which Finds-The-Way Finds Her Way Out of Helgen
In which the Argonian Finds-The-Way escapes a dragon attack at Helgen, and is recruited by the Jarl of Whiterun to recover a Dragonstone from Bleak Falls Barrow. New playthrough, featuring running in the German language! Expect a lot of language geekery and very long compound nouns. This is a mod-free playthrough, and I will also be tracking how many Achievements I rack up, since I haven't done that before in Skyrim.
