A review about followers available in Tuxborn
While I work on getting caught up on my main playthrough posts, here's a roundup so far of my thoughts on followers available in the Tuxborn modpack for Skyrim. LOTS of interesting followers, but I can't run them all, so I've had to cut down on the number of active followers I have! This post is a roundup of what followers I've tried so far, who's made the cut to remain an active follower, and who hasn't.

In Which Elessir Escapes Helgen and Becomes a Dragonborn
In which Elessir of the Dunmer is captured by the Empire and escapes execution at Helgen only because a dragon torches the place; flees to Riverwood with the Imperial soldier Hadvar; retrieves a Dragonstone for Whiterun's court wizard; slays the dragon Mirmulnir, and is revealed as Dragonborn; and is proclaimed thane of Whiterun, with Lydia as his housecarl.

In Which Finds-The-Way is Revealed as Dragonborn
In which Finds-The-Way retrieves the Dragonstone from Bleak Falls Barrow; helps Whiterun fight off a dragon attack, and is revealed as Dragonborn; is proclaimed Thane of Whiterun, and receives Lydia as her housecarl; and thwarts an assassination attempt on the Jarl, and gains the Bow of Shadows from the would-be assassin.

In Which Merawen Flees to Riften
In which Merawen, furious that the search for the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller does NOT go as planned—and freaked out by this whole Dragonborn thing—orders her housecarl back to Whiterun; and in which she then flees first to Solitude, and then to Riften.

In which Merawen retrieves the Dragonstone and returns it to Whiterun, where she is immediately drafted into helping fight off a dragon attack at the Western Watchtower; in which Merawen is revealed as Dragonborn; and in which she is summoned to High Hrothgar to consult with the Greybeards. Also in which Merawen’s player plans out how the narrative that leads Merawen to the Thieves Guild is going to go!

In which the Dragonborn marries her beloved Lydia in Riften, and the happy couple does what they do best for their honeymoon: visiting dungeons and killing draugr! How romantic. <3
